All I have done so far with this blog page is build it. I work full time and had a week from you know where – St George.

Inventory at work for my department and the first week of class has worn me out.

Before I post the three profiles that are part of the assignment, I decided that I first need to introduce my new business.

In a few days I will actually be taking an on-line used item store live. I have the Utah state licensing work done. The webpage hosting has been paid for and all I have to do is load my items to sell.

Southern Utah Liquidation and Trading Company is scheduled to go live after Labor Day Weekend. I will be using the things from this class to build this new site. I will post the URL as soon as the store has a live feed.

The profiles listed are not real people. These are real situations and scenarios about people that may be interested in this store. I have a few more ideas but only listed the required three.

Keep reading as I prepare for my first day of business. This class will get to see the behind the scenes activity as I open my Facebook page to promote the site. I will post an announcement in a few days with the URL so you can see the new store on grand opening day.

 

Here are the profiles:

 

 

Becky – is a 29 year old single mom. She works in an office for a small company and does not have a lot of spare cash. She has three children two boys and a girl. She was able to finally get a newer car. The dust has settled for her new life as a single parent. She is interested in saving time and using on-line shopping opportunities such as my new store that will sell great used items. She is looking for an on-line retailer that has great used items of all kinds to save money and provide needed items at a cost that is much less than retail.

 

Mark – Is an E-Bay seller. He does not want to buy that pallet sized liquidation lots that are sold by different companies. He is interested in the one good deal that can be found at a great price. He is in his 40’s. He is married with three teenage daughters. He was part of the downsizing that happened around the country a few years ago and wants to make a little extra money without spending a lot to get started. He is looking for an on-line store that sells good quality used items with room for making a little profit.

 

Summer is into recycling and saving money. She is 27 years old, single and is in her third year of college. Her personality for dressing is different but awesome because she finds ways to use items that are recycled to make for a cool wardrobe without looking trashy.  Summer came from a family where there is not a lot of money so she is working, and putting herself through school. She is after a degree in design. Used items, which are in great shape, or one of a kind items are here favorite thing to hunt for. She loves the idea of saving money as well as keeping great used items out of the landfill.
